Institute of Law

VISION
The Institute of Law envisions a community of servant-leaders committed to justice, peace, and the common good—formed in the Franciscan tradition of humility, integrity, and compassion. We aspire to be a center of transformative legal education that shapes ethical, competent, and socially responsible lawyers dedicated to upholding the dignity of all, especially the marginalized.
MISSION
Anchored in the life and virtues of St. Francis of Assisi, the Institute of Law of Christ the King College commits itself to:
• Forming principled legal professionals through a rigorous, values-based Juris Doctor program grounded in academic excellence, critical thinking, and moral discernment.
• Promoting access to justice and public service through community engagement, legal aid, and advocacy for the poor and oppressed.
• Fostering a culture of humility, peace, and simplicity, where law is not only studied as a profession but lived as a vocation.
• Integrating faith and reason to cultivate a Franciscan legal conscience rooted in the Gospel, respectful of human rights, and responsive to the needs of society.
