𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐀 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐕𝐈𝐈𝐈 𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆

The Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) Region VIII convened today, September 19, 2025, at La Rica Hotel, Tacloban City, Leyte. The meeting gathered all sports directors, coordinators, and members of PRISAA Region VIII to discuss vital matters in preparation for upcoming athletic events.

The session was spearheaded by the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office VIII (CHEDRO-8), led by Dr. Maximo C. Aljibe, CESO III, Director IV, CHEDRO-8, together with Dr. Edward Y. Chua, President, PRISAA R8.

Key agenda included the schedule of the PRISAA Cluster Meet 2025 and Regional Games 2026, the qualifications and eligibility of athletes with corresponding forms, and the rules and regulations governing sports competitions.

Representing Christ the King College of Calbayog City, Inc. was Mr. Nervon M. Ladag, Sports Coordinator of the College Department, who actively participated in the deliberations to ensure CKC’s strong commitment to sports development and excellence in athletics.

PRISAA continues to strengthen collaboration among private higher education institutions in Region VIII as it upholds its mission of promoting sportsmanship, discipline, and holistic student development.
