Calbayog City, September 14, 2024 – Christ the King College (CKC) Batch Dalugdog 2004 proudly kicked off Taragpo 2024 with an exhilarating opening salvo, marking the beginning of what promises to be a dynamic and memorable celebration. Central to the event is the much-anticipated Taragpo Cup, a highlight that showcases the vibrant CKC alumni spirit and an enduring sense of community.

This year’s Taragpo Cup aims to strengthen bonds among alumni through friendly competition and shared experiences. The opening salvo featured a series of events starting with a Eucharistic Mass, followed by a motorcade organized in collaboration with CKC Batch 79, and an official opening ceremony that set the stage for the upcoming festivities.

In an expression of heartfelt gratitude, Batch Dalugdog 2004 extended special thanks to Christ the King College, the Congregation of the Sisters of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary (CSVP), the CKC Alumni Association, and various alumni batches including Batch 79, Batch 2003, Batch 2005, and Batch 2006. The Local Government Unit of Calbayog City also played a pivotal role in supporting the event. A particular mention goes to Ma’am Merla Rosalado, whose inspiring message added a meaningful and uplifting tone to the celebrations.
