Welcoming a Pillar of our Community: Mr. Joseph Abad
We are thrilled to introduce a distinguished and dedicated member of our community, Mr. Joseph Abad. With over 30 years of service as a member and employee of a renowned religious organization, Joseph’s journey is a testament to his unwavering commitment to spiritual growth and community service.
Joseph’s academic achievements are truly remarkable. He has completed the esteemed St. Margaret Clithore Intensive Development Programme and holds a Graduate Diploma in Christian Spirituality. His scholarly pursuits also include a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Theology, underscoring his deep intellectual engagement with faith and spirituality.
In his professional life, Joseph has served in various significant roles. From 2001 to 2005, he was a Parish Priest at The Diocese of Angers. He then took on the role of Catholic Chaplain at the University of Western Sydney from 2006 to 2007. His journey continued as the Pastoral Educational Coordinator at Uniting in Sydney, Australia, where he has been instrumental in guiding and nurturing the spiritual growth of many.
Joseph’s influence extends internationally through his connections with The Carmelites. He has served as a Formator and Spiritual Director in Nantes, France, an Assistant Pastor in Wentworthville, NSW, and as a Formator and Lecturer in Butembo, Democratic Republic of Congo (Zaire). His global experience reflects his deep commitment to fostering spiritual development across diverse communities.
