Stories created beyond the scripts, canvas painted in the silhouette of indelible inks, memories once cherished will forever be encapsulated. As the Academic Year 2023-2024 draws to a close, 158 faithful and resilient Senior High School students of Christ The King College of Calbayog City, Inc. finally turn their tassels to the right, symbolizing the end of a journey taken together and the opening of a new chapter in their lives.

Before the commencement exercises formally began, a Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated to honor the guidance and wisdom of the Almighty. In the gospel, Mass Presider Fr. Prisco A. Cajes, OFM, TH, D highlighted the essence of faith and sacrifice throughout the students’ journey.

Right after the Thanksgiving Mass, the closing chapter of the graduates’ journey drew near. The commencement exercises officially began as the school’s president, Fr. Prisco A. Cajes, OFM, TH, D, declared the opening of the graduation ceremonies and proclaimed the graduates of the class of 2023-2024.

Honoring the students’ hard work and sacrifice, medals and ribbons were distributed to the graduates. These awards represent the fruits of countless sleepless nights, frantic efforts, and crumpled papers—experiences that marked their academic journey. These memories will now reside in their hearts forever.

Emotions filled the event as students expressed their gratitude to their parents. Teary eyes and tight hugs were captured all around. For the last time, the graduates paid honor and respect to the institution, now their Alma Mater, which had been their home during their Senior High School years.

No matter where life takes you, the memories you’ve shared will remain forever cherished. Congratulations, Graduates of the Class of 2023-2024! Continue to be the voice of faith and integrity. Good luck as you embark on the next chapter of your lives!
