Vice President for Academic Affairs
She has been serving the institution for 33 years now. Started working as an elementary teacher for 16 years and eventually as principal for 13 years. She handled courses in the different programs aligned to her discipline of expertise both in undergraduate and graduate studies at Christ the King College since 2016. She was designated Dean in the then College of Arts and Sciences in 2022 and later appointed OIC Vice President for Academic Affairs when the seat was vacated in the second semester of academic year 2022-2023. Now serving the Institution as Vice President for Academic Affairs and in acting capacity as Dean of both the Institute of Graduate Studies and Research and Institute of Teacher Education.
Dr. Alburan has finished Master of Arts in Educational Management (MAEd-EM) at Christ the King College of Calbayog City, Inc. in 2007. In 2014, she has completed her Master of Arts in English (ME) at Leyte Normal University. Her Doctorate was obtained in 2022 at the University of San Jose – Recoletos, Cebu City for the post graduate program Doctor in Management in Educational Management.
Serving the institution in various capacities has potentiated her with extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of education. Her commitment to quality education is shown in her rigorous pursuit to further her education, unceasing vigor to keep the academic integrity of the institution by elaborating faithfulness to the mission of the school and the dedication she has tendered with the institution for an exceedingly considerable time. As the Vice President for Academic Affairs, she offer leadership driven by integrity, intellect and probity.
